Gold Humanism Honor Society Reward Recipient
The Gold Humanism Honor Society recognizes students, residents and faculty who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine. Members are peer nominated and are the ones that others say they want taking care of their own family. Since its inception in 2002, Gold Humanism Honor Society has grown in influence to become a vital part of medical school and residency training program cultures throughout the US.

Ivy Ren is a truly genuine person who her classmates believe to be smart, honest and kind. Ivy listens to her patients and is the kind of caring and responsible person most patients want advocating for them. Often times, you will see Ivy talking to patients making sure everyone involved, including family members, is comfortable. The way Ivy pays attention to the small details when caring for patients is admirable, and that reflects in patient outcomes. If Ivy sees a problem with patient care or patient interaction, she is the first to speak up and help rectify any issues. With that, we would like to acknowledge and congratulate Ivy.
