The Gold Humanism Honor Society recognizes students, residents and faculty who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine. Members are peer nominated and are the ones that others say they want taking care of their own family. Since its inception in 2002, Gold Humanism Honor Society has grown in influence to become a vital part of medical school and residency training program cultures throughout the US.
While on rotations, Olivia Moscicki’s peers have had the pleasure of witnessing a future doctor who will always consider the human experience of the patient first. Olivia has shown to have palpable tenderness and compassion for her patients. She is caring, compassionate, and warm in every patient encounter, carrying with her a demeanor her peers can only hope to emulate. Beyond patient care, Olivia is a humble, constant force for advocacy. Her peers view her as a role model for involvement in all kinds of activist circles. She is a powerhouse of information when it comes to initiatives, petitions, upcoming rallies or movements for change. She truly cares about health equity and personifies it in her daily life. With that, we would like to acknowledge and congratulate Olivia.
